Entertainment Spotlight: The Buckinghams & Chubby Checker!

The classic sounds of the 1960’s come alive for what is sure to be an amazing live performance! The Buckinghams and Chubby Checker are two veteran acts that know how to keep the crowd groovin’ with fun pop-tunes and catchy lyrics. The 2010 Big Fresno Fair is only FIVE weeks away!

Just five more weeks until the Fair is back in town and with it, the return of everyone’s favorite Fair food – Country Fair Cinnamon Rolls! Every Fairgoer’s guilty pleasure is back to satisfy their craving. These delicious, award-winning treats are always a hit! Your mouth will water as you stand in line watching the layers of cinnamon and sugar spread on the dough. What makes these Cinnamon Rolls so special? It’s part science, part art and totally delicious! Don’t forget to order extra rolls to take home and hold you over.

REMINDER: “Feed the Need” Community Food Drive TODAY at Peak Broadcasting!

The need for food is NOW and the need is great! Join The Big Fresno Fair, The Salvation Army, Community Food Bank and Peak Broadcasting TODAY in the Peak Broadcasting Parking Lot on the corner of Shaw and Palm avenues until 6 p.m. for the “Feed the Need” Community Food Drive. See the flyer below for details on what non-perishable food items are needed. Also, bring two bags of food and receive a FREE admission ticket to the 2010 Big Fresno Fair good for Thursday, October 14th. Supplies are limited and on a first-come, first served basis.

“Feed the Need” Community Food Drive tomorrow at Peak Broadcasting!

The need for food is NOW and the need is great! Experience the Wild, Wild Best at Table Mountain Rancheria Park during the 2010 Fair. Lasso up all the fun at these family-friendly attractions where there’s plenty of entertainment for both the young and the young at heart to enjoy! Don’t forget to check out the brand new Big Fresno Fair Farmer’s Market. This new attraction will showcase the Valley’s top agricultural commodities in a fun, educational way!

It Isn’t a Visit to the Fair Without Checking Out The Livestock Pavilion!

Check out the Livestock Pavilion and see everything from farm animals, like beef, dairy, goats, sheep and swine, being shown by 4-H and FFA students to cow-milking demonstrations at the Challenge Dairy Cow Palace Milking Barn and more! This building also features 12 days of livestock events, including the Jr. Livestock Auctions on Saturday, October 9th and Saturday, October 16th, which benefit 4-H and FFA students.
