The 2008 Big Fresno Fair Carnival is the number-one stop for family fun this October! From old favorites like the carousel or Ferris wheel to new attractions like a full-scale roller coaster or Roc’n Rapids Flume Ride, the Shamrock Shows Carnival will thrill Fairgoers of all ages. With over 30 years of providing fun to Californians, Shamrock Shows has an unparalleled safety record. The carnival provider that first joined The Big Fresno Fair in 2006 is back again with more fun and exciting rides!

2008 Shamrock Shows Scholarship

Shamrock Shows, The Big Fresno Fair’s carnival provider, is proud to offer the Shamrock Shows Educational Scholarship Program to Fresno County graduating High School seniors, continuing University, Junior College or Trade School students.

A minimum of three scholarships totaling $3,000 will be awarded to students based on an essay, overall grade point average, their involvement in school and their community, and an oral interview. The Scholarship Judging Committee will be comprised of four judges including representatives from The Big Fresno Fair and Shamrock Shows. Scholarships will be announced during the 2008 Big Fresno Fair.
