People from all over the world come to the Wells Fargo Agricultural Building to see all the reasons why Fresno County is the world’s top agricultural area! From apples to zucchini, you’ll find over 500 different varieties of locally-grown crops on display here. Here's a list of the communities who participate each year: Clovis, Coalinga, Easton, Fowler, Kerman, Kingsburg, Laton, Orange Cove, Parlier, Reedley, Sanger and Selma. |

Float on the fragrance of fresh flowers!
From sweet-smelling roses, to exotic orchids, intricate bonsai plants and a variety of succulents, there’s enough to keep your eyes (and nose) captivated for days in the Floriculture exhibit! Watch in amazement during the Bonsai demonstrations as an overgrown plant is turned into a work of art in a matter of minutes! Check out the many varieties of cacti and succulents and learn all about how to care for the beautiful and mystical orchids from the Orchid Society members. See the green thumbs of local FFA students as they showcase the efforts of their hard work…which are also for sale after the Fair! Plus see beautiful fresh flower arrangements, silk flower displays, window displays and so much more! |

Catch the sparkle of breathtaking stones on display in the Gem & Mineral Building. Diamonds, rubies, emeralds and more – learn about them all. You can even purchase custom jewelry made from these special stones -- guaranteed to be one of your best catches of the day! |

Stop by the Home Arts Building and explore the wide variety of arts and crafts projects like homemade quilts, wood carvings, cooking demonstrations, paintings and more. And catch a glimpse of Old Fresno County with historical Pop Laval photos on display! Also, don’t miss a special exhibit about William Saroyan – Fresno’s most famous writer, playwright and artist! |

You’re likely to find what you’re looking for among the hundreds of commercial exhibits and concessions in the Cal Tec Commerce and Industry Commerce Buildings and all across the Fairgrounds. A wide variety of vendors will be on hand offering an abundance of products for fairgoers to browse or purchase. From live demonstrations to back massages, you’ll find it all here. |

Who says Fair exhibits are just for grown-ups? Visit the Junior Exhibits Building and look at all the different entries made by kids of all ages, from clothing to cooking, fruits to farm equipment, pictures to posters and more! |

You’ll fall for these animals hook, line and sinker!
Check out the Livestock Pavilion and see everything from farm animals to cow-milking demonstrations and more. This building features 13 days of livestock events including beef, dairy, goats, sheep and swine. By participating in these events, 4-H and FFA students not only have the opportunity to showcase and sell their animal projects, they also learn responsibility and gain agribusiness experience. Also, don't miss the Jr. Livestock Auctions on Saturday, October 4th and Saturday, October 11th. |

No trip to the Fair is complete without a visit to Kid’s Town, where kids can create their own masterpiece to take home at Mary Lee’s Make and Take, learn mystifying magic tricks from the Wizard, see life through amazing kaleidoscopes and much, much more! Kids and parents alike will enjoy the new Mariners & Mermaid comedic dive show. This exciting show features beautiful mermaids swimming gracefully under water while mariners dive from almost 90 feet above at 65MPH into a pool only 10 feet deep! |

Be sure to visit the Fair’s newest exhibit, Modern Marvels of the Central Valley, and see 125 years’ worth of large-scale gadgets and gizmos that helped make our area the world’s top agricultural region. Here you can learn about original farming equipment, the people who worked the Valley’s first farms… and see agriculture inventions from another time including a steam-powered threshing machine and Holt’s original caterpillar! |

Get hooked on education at this new exhibit!
Don’t miss the new AG Ventureland, where you can learn about the Valley’s agricultural heritage while enjoying baby animals, amphibians, fish, reptiles…all part of exciting educational displays! This new area, located on the northeast side of the Livestock Pavilion where the Animal Birthing Center used to be, features new exhibits that have never been to The Big Fresno Fair!
There will still be plenty of baby animals to see like sheep, pigs and chicks…but the new AG Ventureland offers many more new attractions! Click here for more information! |

Catch BIG-time sport excitement here!
For all you sports fans out there, you’ll be excited to know that the Sports Zone is back! One of the biggest attractions at last year’s Fair, the Sports Zone has something for everyone. Whether you are gearing up to watch your favorite MLB team, NFL team or to cheer on your beloved Bulldog football team, this is the place to be! With huge flat screen TVs, the Dugout Sports Bar has plenty of room to relax and enjoy the game of your choice.
For those interactive sports fans, come out to the Sports Zone and test out your arm in one of the pitching or throwing cages. Can you throw the heat? See if you can still throw that baseball or football as hard as you used to. If that’s not your style, then test your skills at bull riding. See if you have what it takes to stay on the mechanical bull for more than eight seconds. Also, the guys from ESPN will be broadcasting live at the 2008 Big Fresno Fair from the Sports Zone. So, come out, get some food and something to drink, then sit down and listen to them talk about the latest in sports news from their on-grounds set!
