Friends of the Fair is a non-profit 501 (c)3 entity of the Big Fresno Fair. It was created in 1995 to encourage the generosity of the private sector to assist with the beautification of the fairgrounds and the expansion of the Fair Education programs. Friends of the Fair seeks and receives grants/donations to insure the growth and viability of the cherished Big Fresno Fair.

To join Friends of The Big Fresno Fair please download the application by clicking here. The goal of the Friends of the Fair is to raise funds to support improvements to the educational programs offered by The Big Fresno Fair. Programs such as Fair Education, wherein local students (many of whom would not be able to afford to do so otherwise) are given the opportunity to visit the educational exhibits at the fair free of charge, and the Animal Birthing Center, where students can experience the first several hours of animals' lives, continue to teach our local residents about the Central Valley's rich agricultural heritage. Mirrored to the mission of The Big Fresno Fair itself, the Friends of the Fair strive to make the Fair a place to celebrate, educate and have fun.
