Beer & Wine Fest – Sat, October 5
The Big Fresno Fair's Annual Beer & Wine Fest is back Saturday, October 5 from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m. middle of the horse racing track! There will be 20+ breweries and wineries, a DJ, food trucks and lawn games like corn hole! Tickets cost $25 (event only) and $7 for Designated Drivers. A limited number of tickets will be sold so people are encouraged to purchase early either online or at the Fair Box Office. If it does not sell out, tickets will be sold at the gate. Attendees must be 21 or older.
Derby Dog Dash – Sat, October 12
Have a small dog that you think is fast? Then enter them into the Annual Derby Dog Dash on Saturday, October 12 for the chance to win cash prizes and, of course, bragging rights. The public is also encouraged to come out and cheer on their favorite dog to the finish line! ENTRIES HAVE CLOSED.
Bulldog Stakes (Handicap) Race – Sun, October 13
Join the tradition by wearing red to the races on October 13 to celebrate our very own Fresno State Bulldogs. If you wear red, you will be entered to win cash prizes during the Bulldog Handicap Race! Just look for the entry booth on your way into the Grandstands.
Losers Can Win Promotion
Turn any losing 2024 Big Fresno Fair horse racing wager ticket into a winner! How? Wagerers just need to drop their losing race wager ticket with their name and cell phone number into the box with the number race they wagered and lost on. The boxes will be on display on the ground floor of the race track and the 2
nd floor. Then after Race 4 each day, a winner will be selected from each race to get a $10 voucher to place on another bet. Subsequently, the same thing will be done after Race 8 and then the last race of the day if it is not Race 8. Then at the end of the race day, an overall winner will be selected from all the races that will receive a box of four to come back on a day of their choice to wager. They will also get a $50 voucher to use on future bets.
