Overview

The famous and intrinsic elements of Italian society including art, music and literature, were brought to American shores by her immigrants. The streets, parties and weddings of Fresno County's West Side came alive with the sounds of festive songs and instruments evoking countryside picnics and long, hot summer evenings.
