Meet Dylan Olsen, a Kerman 4- H student who is a 6th grader at Houghton Kearney Elementary:
Dylan’s enthusiasm for animals continues to grow in his second year with Kerman 4-H, where he’s showing lambs again. With support from his project leader, breeders, and fellow members, Dylan’s experience has been enriched by a strong network. After enjoying his first fair, where he made new friends and participated in the sheep costume contest, Dylan was eager to return this year.
This season, Dylan has been raising two market lambs: a Hampshire wether named Stanley, bought from his project leader Allie, and a Speck ewe from the Down’s Family. Dylan has worked hard and is excited to show his efforts at the fair. Be sure to catch Dylan and Stanley in the costume contest—it’s set to be a fun addition to the event!
