Meet Javin Greenwell, a Reedley FFA student who is an 9th grader at Reedley Middle College High School:
Javin loves animals and always has. Javin believes that the agriculture in our area feeds
literally the entire world and that is very interesting to him! He spent his younger
years on his grandparent’s farm where he was involved in helping raise animals, as
well as help farm fruit and vegetables. He was able to help all the way from
planting to harvest and he enjoyed it very much.
This year his project is a lamb named Bo. He is
currently kept at the RMCHS farm so each day Javin goes over to the farm to take care
of all of his needs. He is a stunning lamb who has the perfect shape. He has put lots of time into exercising and training him so that he will be the
perfect quality of meat. His buyer will be pleased with the quality of meat they
receive due to all the hard work and care that he has put into Bo. They can also brag
a bit and tell all their friends that they have purchased a Lamb-Bo! I’m sure
it will gain them much notoriety and a few chuckles!
