Meet Kailey Guzman, a Reedley FFA student who is an 11th grader at Reedley Middle College High School:
"Kailey decided to join FFA because she saw it as an opportunity to develop animal handling skills that will benefit her in her future as a veterinarian. It is a long-term goal for Kailey to graduate from high school with her associates degree and attend UC Davis to become a veterinarian. FFA is not only beneficial for future skills and practices but for developing positive habits and disciplines as well."
This year, Kailey will be showing "King Candy, a purebred Southdown that currently weighs 121 lbs. with big doe eyes and a teddy bear face. He just won the Reedley Middle College Mock Fair advanced division. Winning at only six months old he keeps up a daily routine of working out at the Reedley College trails. With as much energy that he has his heart is as warm, he hopes to see you at the Big Fresno Fair!"
