Trevor Rajskup | Fairmont 4-H

Meet Trevor Rajskup, a Fairmont 4-H student who is a 5th grader at Fairmont Elementary:

Trevor Rajskup got involved in Fairmont 4-H when he was about eight years old and knew from the beginning, he wanted to show Pygmy Goats. Trevor also joined poultry, sewing, canning, photography just to name a few! While in 4-H, Trevor has met such amazing mentors and friends that he works well with while in his projects, and also in the show ring. 4-H is very important to Trevor as it is opening so many possibilities that will lead into great success as he gets older, and in the meantime, he is enjoying the fun of 4-H camp, being in the show ring and meeting new people.

His first two Fresno Fairs he showed as a primary this year he is very excited to show as a junior. His Pygmy Goat herd has grown from buying a bred Doe when he was a eight years old with his hard earned money from recycling and yard work to now having a herd of 6 with 2 of his Does bred. In addition to Pygmy Goats, Trevor has also shown poultry. This year will be his first year, showing a turkey for showmanship and for the market class. He is nervous and excited to be selling his market turkey and a set of laying hens at auction Saturday October 5th.
