Meet Vanesa Vargas, a Reedley FFA student who is a senior at Reedley Middle College High School:
"The reason why I got involved in FFA this year is because it is my last year in high school to do an animal project. Not only is that the reason but I also love and enjoy spending time with animals and caring for them. This is something I have done my 4 years in high school and not once have I regretted it.
This year I chose to do a lamb and my goal is to get it to weigh more than 100 by when fair comes around. I have invested almost 600 dollars in my lamb and I’m hoping to make more this year to save up for college. This animal is also very important to me because I have put a lot of time in effort into my lamb and I hope to make the best of it."
